I would like to share with Techwench members the procedure I followed to finish the black and white and color Instant Geek Cartoon.

I don?t use any Wacom (Graphic Tablet) for my drawings. I always prefer drawing on paper, inking and scanning them to computer for coloring in Photoshop.

The procedure in brief as follows:

(1) Drawing rough sketch with pencil.

(2) Inking the lines with black Indian ink once the rough sketch is perfect.

(3) Scanning them to computer in 300dpi resolution.

(4) Filling the colors (RGB Mode) with bucket tool and adding gradients if required.

(5) Optimizing Image for web use.

This is what my final Image:

The other Graphic Objects like Computer, Tool box I made with the help of shape tools in Photoshop. For drawing simple objects I always take the help of shape tools.
