Google TV is transforming to be the next big ticket in the gadget world. Analysts and tech bloggers all around the web are speculating about the wonders that this Google TV will bring to TV world. Companies like Logitech and Sony are all set to release their Google TV powered Set-Top boxes in the market.

So in a latest turn of events, big brand names of TV including the likes of HBO, Pandora, Netflix and NBA are teaming up with the search giant, Google, for their upcoming mega roll out of the Google TV. The Internet Giant’s TV, which is termed as “Multimillion Channel TV” system is expected to have a mega unveiling and launching sometime this fall season. Being powered by Google’s increasingly dominant Android operating system, the Google TV device will enable the users to view all kind of interactive web contents on their Television Sets.

These partnerships between these mega brands including HBO and Google were announced on the Official Blog of Google on Monday. The blog post of Google also cited that certain other deals are also on their way between popular websites and Google in which these websites and companies will optimize their contents as per the compatibility with Google TV. Sites which will re-configure their contents for the Google TV include CNN.com and a lot of others like TNT, TBS and The Kids Cartoon Network. Majority of these channels are owned by the Parent company that is Time Warner.

The Product Manager of Google TV, Ambarish Kenghe wrote in the blog post that one of the most primary goals of the Google TV is to open up the living room and make way for developers and innovators to redesign the way users interact with their multimedia devices in the living rooms.

According to a source, HBO which is also a Time Warner Owned brand will provide around 600 hours of enhanced programming contents for the Google TV. Similarly, NBA has built the NBA Game Time which will give real time match updates to the viewers.

Google has joined the tech savvy giant Apple in making a move into the Television world just prior to the Holiday Season. Although, online Entertainment channels like YouTube and HULU have brought considerable users density on the web, but still Television viewers have a larger users base as compared to the online realm.

Other big names which are transforming and building their Apps for the Google TV include the likes of VEVO, Napster and Pandora.
