With hundreds of new apps coming out daily, it’s hard to keep up with the ones you should have. When it comes to apps that help you with your daily life, I have found that these 5 apps have helped me tremendously and I use at least on of them everyday.

Google Maps

Now that iPhones do not already come with Google maps, I strongly recommend getting this app. Sometimes with the maps on my iPhone, its not totally accurate or not completely up to date. However the Google maps have never let me down and I know I can always count on them to get me where I need to be. They have maps for every street across the world. I even found this app extremely helpful on my trip to Asia. It doesn’t disappoint.

Weather Radar

This app is perfect for keeping track of storms. The weather app that comes on your iPhone can tell you the temperature and such but can’t actually let you see the storm that is passing. With this app you can see exactly where the storm is on a radar and when it will come over your area which is marked for you.

Around Me

This app is wonderful if you’re looking for something nearby. You can search restaurants, coffee shops, gas stations; the possibilities are endless. I love using this app to find the nearest gas station because not only will it find the nearest one, it also shows me which ones have the cheapest prices. This app is also perfect if you’re traveling and need to find things nearby.

Ness

If you like to eat out and like to explore new restaurants, this is the app for you. This app will find restaurants nearby and recommend them to you. You can rate restaurants you have eaten at along with what kind of food you like and dislike, this helps the app to recommend restaurants that you would prefer. I love using this app even when I’m just at home because I am constantly discovering great new restaurants near me to go try with friends. This app is also perfect for traveling, if you want to find a quick meal or a nice dinner.

Alarm.com

Crime activity is rising and having an alarm system is a necessity. Home invasions are happening much more often now and having a security system is essential for you and your family’s safety. Using this app, you can view your home security cameras as well as call any emergency vehicle right from your phone. You can even control the electricity and lights from your phone, and have your lights on waiting for you when you arrive home.
