Specifications: The phone was released on the 9th of January this year. The phone comes with a talk time of about 450 minutes. It has been integrated with a digital camera, an FM radio and a digital media player. The weight of this handset is estimated to be around 5.2 oz and the diagonal screen measures 4.7 inches.
Design: The design of this particular HTC handset is not very different from the model that came before. Its dimensions are 5.1 inches by 2.8 inches and the thickness of this phone is 0.39inches. The phone looks like a flat rectangular slab, the design typically common among today’s smart phones. Even though the phone has rounded edges, the users with small hands will find its use a bit uncomfortable as the phone is larger than HTC Titan.
Some other features: Just below the screen, there are icons present for the standard Windows Phone that includes one for Back, Start and Search. The keys are big enough to be pressed conveniently and with backlit. Every time you press them, you will feel soft vibration. Above the display you can find the 1.3 megapixel camera facing towards the front along with a sleek earpiece. There is a standard 3.5mm headphone jack and a tiny power button present as well. On the right side of the handset, there is a thin volume bar and a camera key.
The rear facing camera has a resolution of 16 mega pixel and the built in memory is 16 GB. The processor is 1.5 GHz single-core, with GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options.
The good: The bar for the Windows Phone handsets has been raised by Titan II since it has an attractive large screen along with 4G LTE. The performance is quite satisfying and the high resolution camera will attract a lot of customers.
The bad: The phone’s size could be an issue for some of the users and also the curvy display has been disliked by few people.
Conclusion: HTC Titan II has more to offer than what we expect from a Window’s phone. If Nokia Lumia 900 wasn’t present, then definitely HTC Titan II would have been the number one Windows phone available in the market.
