Lenovo B560 laptop has the same functions as any other standard notebook. Installed on its Intel HM55 motherboard is a 2 GHz processor which is also a product of Intel. As for the memory, the slim book has a DDR3 4 GB RAM and also a NVIDIA GeForce graphic card.
Its appearance is black throughout the device except, the Intel logo. The smart black design frame has a 15.6 inch display screen which is other than being shiny good for watching movies and other media files. Best resolution screen is about 1366 x 768 pixels. For storage there is a 500 GB hard disk and to enjoy media and audio a Realtek sound card is also installed on the mother board. While facing the screen, there are 2 USB ports on the left side along with Ethernet or LAN and HDMI ports, also a built in speaker is located near the screen on the same side. While on the opposing side you will find the CD/DVD writer/burner along with another USB port. On the very same side there can be found two separate jacks one for each headphones and microphones. For security there is also a finger print scanner located just below the right side of the keyboard.
The system supports 4 in one memory card reader and the stylish keyboard is not only neat looking but also is very comfortable. A numeric keypad is also e cursor. Windows seven can be present and below the whole thing is a touch pad to control the movement of the cursor. Plus a preinstalled Bluetooth makes connectivity more easy and specially if the device already has a Wi-Fi. There is also a 0.3 mega pixel webcam above the display screen and the whole screen and webcam is covered by a thin and fine plastic coating which protects it from coating. Same but thicket coating is found on the upper side of the laptop when closed. Sound and video quality is good and movies and songs can be viewed and enjoyed easily, also there is a small on and off button to control Bluetooth. The blue tooth also supports direct file sending and receiving. The memory card slot is in the appropriate position. The indicators on the left end indicate the sound battery and usage modes.
Despite all those things this laptop is not very expensive and does not support multi touch system that is using keypad you cannot zoom in by pinching or scroll up using two fingers. The key settings are also very close together and this makes it difficult to write if you do not have a good practice on it first. However, the over all performance in windows indexing is 4.1 and that is pretty good. The system supports windows seven and can run it smoothly. So if one can not spare a lot of money for an expensive laptop he/she can do very well with this laptop because even though it lacks a lot of features it is affordable and worth a shot.
