Do you own a Macintosh computer that hangs and slows down abruptly? This problem is common with this model and it is affecting many other users. While the problem seems inconceivable to a user the first time it occurs, he or she can use simple mac freeze troubleshooting tricks to solve it.  The Macintosh issues are frequently nothing you cannot handle personally.

So, if this were to happen to you today, what would you do?  First, it is important to point out that technical hitches are hard to troubleshoot without having even the slightest hint on how to trace their root. Before your mac freezes before your eyes, keep the following four tips at your fingertips.

• Virus attack – Mac hanging, slowing down or freezing does not just arise. If your antivirus software is not so reliable, it might let in a bug which has the ability to infect a given application. If that occurs, the application would obviously drain the existing resources.  The wisest thing to do is to actually confirm if a bug exists and if it does, attempt to get rid of it right away. If you suspect a given application only, try to shut it down manually.

• Little memory – This is another common reason why your awesome machine could ruin your day.  When any computer memory is very little, one has to do one task at time for it to continue running. Otherwise, running many tasks at once can definitely cause a freeze situation or very slow connections. If you have witnessed the freezing problem for a while now, add memory and see what transpires next. If you own one of the latest models, little memory is unlikely to be the problem because these boast more than enough of this.

• Giving too many instructions simultaneously – Sometimes even the quickest modern computers detect stressful conditions and refuse to work. Your mac is no exemption, as it can also refuse to process to many applications beyond its performance level.  The solution is to instruct the machine to perform one or two activities at a time. If the hitch continues, troubleshoot it further.

• The disk space – Commonly, people keep many applications that consume space for no reason at all. If many applications compete for a share of the disk space concurrently, the equipment is likely to perform poorly.

While the above reasons could cause a terrible freeze situation, you need to know when the problem occurred to even start troubleshooting its causes. For instance, it could arise during start up, while trying to load system extensions, when loading, utilizing or closing an application, while printing and so on. Each time you try Mac freeze troubleshooting, you have to turn off the equipment no matter what.
