Cell phone giant Nokia has recently started the shipping of its latest entertainment Smartphone Nokia N8 alongwith the Ovi Services. The Smartphone N8 is a highly anticipated phone of Nokia and company has officially announced the shipping of the set.
All those customers who already have placed orders for Nokia N8, either through Nokia Online Shops or through retail stores of Nokia, will be the first ones to get their hands on the Smartphone. Market availability of the phone throughout the globe will depend upon operators also through regions. A broad availability is anticipated within next few weeks.
Jo Harlow, who is the Senior Vice President of the Smartphones division at Nokia, said in a press release that with the introduction of N8 Smartphone and the New Symbian OS, Nokia is trying to bring in a reliable, faster and easier user experience to the most popular Smartphone platform. Nokia N8 is getting really famous and has already got the highest number of pre-orders ever that Nokia has got for any of the previous phones. Jo said that people at Nokia are thrilled to start the shipment of this latest set which is the first in Nokia’s new Symbian Smartphone Series.
The first in a series of Smartphones that will support the New Symbian, N8 is very easy to use and it also supports true Multitasking. This multitasking feature will allow the users of N8 to switch between various applications quickly and will also enable to run multitude of applications.
From the camera point of view, N8 is also tagged as the world’s best camera phone; it is equipped with a 12 MP Carl Zeiss optics camera which allows the users to take high quality pictures and even record HD videos. Users can now edit photos and videos on-screen and can also share them on Social Networking Platform. It has a robust Aluminum Body with an AMOLED display.
Nokia just like other Smartphones comes equipped with Free Ovi Maps & Drive navigation apps which enable the users to use them in more than 70 countries along the Globe. The latest Nokia Ovi Maps Application can also be downloaded from Nokia Beta Labs.
