Consumer electronics giant Samsung has recently released a series of three new handsets that are going to be added to their Samsung’s Wave Family. These three handsets will roll out in the month of November. The latest wave series handsets are named as Wave 525, Wave 553 and Wave 575. Well, for some cellphone analysts, the names are snappily chosen, but name is not what we judge a cellphone from.
All of these handsets will be having the Samsung’s own OS. All the devices will be powered by Samsung’s Bada OS and will incorporate features like Social Hub of Samsung which is also very much part of Samsung’s upcoming mega anticipated tablet device, Galaxy Tablet. The Galaxy tablet device will be launched on October 30th. So, the users of these series of Smartphones can get a glimpse of Samsung’s Social Hub feature. All the three handsets according to the reports will be having a 3.2 inch touchscreen and a total of 100 MB storage which can be expanded up to a total of 64 GB by using SD cards. As for the difference aiming the specifications of these three sets, the details released by Samsung are still very sketchy.
But according to specification details released, Samsung Wave 533 will feature a sort of a slide-out keyboard. Samsung Wave 525 will not be having the option of a 3G network and on other hand Samsung’s Wave 575 will feature a full fledge Bluetooth 3.0.
According to Samsung CEO JK Shin, these three Smartphones released by Samsung shows the commitment of the Smartphone giant that they want to offer their user’s diversity as far as device choice is considered. Samsung wants to have a variety of options for their users so that they can take advantage of whatever they choose among these devices.
Samsung also said that all the three sets will be launched with a very different price tag and will be having a separate market footprint. The devices will start rolling out in November but for the non-US regions no fixed date is given yet.
